Present your paper in person at the Conference. If you are unable to present, please inform the conference organisers as soon as possible.
Each presentation should not exceed 10–12 minutes (5 minutes in the case of speed talk presentations).
Avoid reading out your paper.
Focus on the key messages to attract the audience's interest.
Avoid presenting tables with too many cells or tables that are difficult to read.
Use a readable font in the tables and ensure good contrast between the text and the background. Please use the presentation template prepared by the organisers.
Use simple sentences and avoid jargon, highly specialised vocabulary, and unfamiliar abbreviations.
Present only a few important facts on each slide.
Practice the delivery of your talk, making sure that it fits within the allocated time.
Think about the questions you might be asked about your work and prepare well-thought out answers, being mindful of the limited time available.
All lecture rooms are properly equipped for presentations and have a Wi-Fi connection.
If you have made changes to your presentation, please bring the updated version on a USB memory stick to the Information Desk/Info Point at least 2 hours before the start of your session. The Information Desk/Info Point will be clearly marked at the Q2026 conference venue.
Regular/special sessions
Each special session will last 90 minutes. Regular sessions will last either 75 or 90 minutes.
Authors will present a summary of their work within a maximum time slot of 12 minutes. You are kindly requested to respect the allotted time to guarantee a smooth running of sessions.
Questions will be taken at the end of the session, followed by a discussion.
Please consult the conference programme for information about the session in which you are participating and be in the lecture room at least 5 minutes before the session starts.
Each session will be led by a Chair, who will be responsible for introducing the speakers and moderating the session.
The Chair will lead the session and keep track of time. The Chair will signal at the 10-minute mark, and speakers will receive a 2-minute warning before the end of their talk.
Each speed talk session will last a maximum of 45 minutes.
Presentations are limited to 5 minutes. You are kindly requested to respect the allotted time to guarantee the smooth running of sessions.
Please check the room number and the timetable of your speed talk session and arrive at least 5 minutes before the session starts.
Each speed talk session will be led by a Chair, who will be responsible for introducing the speakers and moderating the session.
The Chair will lead the session and keep track of time. The Chair will signal at the 4-minute mark, and speakers will receive a 1-minute warning before the end of their talk.
Any remaining time at the end of the session will be dedicated to questions and discussion, if applicable.
Please note that, as presentations should not exceed 5 minutes, you should focus only on the most relevant slides.
A poster session allows a graphic presentation of the authors' research. Authors will illustrate their work by displaying graphs, photographs, diagrams, and a limited amount of text on LED screens.
Authors will discuss their work with attendees circulating among the LED screens.
Please check the guidelines for information about poster dimension and size requirements.
Authors must remain by their LED screen during one of the two dedicated poster sessions.
Posters will be displayed in a dedicated area within the conference hall.
In the event of any problems, please inform the organising staff present in the poster session area.
